Outside my window...the sun is shining, and it is beautiful!!!!

I am thinking...how quiet it is around here....hmmmmm

I am thankful...for this wonderful weather.

From the learning rooms...we have a half day of school today for Columbus Day.

In the kitchen...Spaghetti for dinner tonight.

I am wearing...a jean skirt and black long sleeved T. I am predictable.

I am creating...Applique blocks of squirrels and pumpkins and crows, and having a BLAST!

I am going...to meet a friend at Joann's to pass off the raffle quilt! WOOHOO

I am wondering...how long it will take to quilt it.

I am reading...The Duggars new book A Love That Multiplies"

I am hoping...to find some good deals tomorrow at Ross (it JUST opened)

I am looking forward to...seeing the grandkids this weekend. It will be a MONTH...I was mistaken about last weekend :(

I am hearing...the washer and dryer running and kids finally making some noise upstairs.

Around the house...things are up and down. This season is a double edged sword around here! Prayer is a focus of each day.

I am pondering...a new schedule.

One of my favorite things...Sassy's morning attitude. She is full of purrs and lovin! It all goes away after she gets her breakfast!

A few plans for the rest of the week:Bears game tonight, day out tomorrow with mom, preparing for Saturdays class...teaching a hand quilting class on Saturday, a meeting at Church on Saturday and again Sunday afternoon, GRANDKIDS!

Outside my window...there is frost on the ground as the sun comes up. It will be a beautiful sunny day today!
I am thinking...about the powerful message given in church yesterday morning.
I am thankful...for time with my sweet friend, Shelly, yesterday.
From the learning rooms...we are starting a new Bible study in our homeschool devotional time.
In the kitchen...I am planning this weeks meals. Soups and chili, will be on the menu this week.
I am wearing...a khaki jean skirt, tights, and a burnt orange long sleeved T.
I am creating...borders for the raffle quilt.
I am going...no where today. Monday is my "at home" day.
I am wondering...about how to apply some deeper Biblical principles here in my home.
I am reading...Scripture pertaining to those principles.
I am hoping...to build my faith this fall season.
I am looking forward to...Thanksgiving.
I am hearing...Sassy purr at my ankles.
Around the house...it is quiet. Sweetheart is getting ready for work and the children are sleeping.
I am pondering...the seeds that were planted in my spirit this weekend.
One of my favorite things...the hug of a close friend. There are few things that feel better.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Tuesday with my mom, attending the every-other-mid-week service on Wednesday night, some ramped up daily time with the Lord, Spending the weekend with my grandchildren!!!

Outside my window...it is raining hard and looks very cold.
I am thinking...of my husband driving almost an hour in this driving rain.
I am thankful...that I am able to be home today.
From the learning rooms...Zach has tests today in 3 subjects. Charlotte is almost there too.
In the kitchen...Nothing is happening, though I have some planning to do for tomorrows grocery trip. Tonight will be chicken.
I am wearing...my furry robe and gown. I will be wearing a jean skirt and sweater today....it is chilly!
I am creating...Isla's raffle quilt this week, and hand quilting on the UGRR Sampler.
I am going...no where today!!!!
I am wondering...why my mother hasn't called this morning.
I am reading...Galatians
I am hoping...I can get this raffle quilt pieced in one day.
I am looking forward to...my day out tomorrow.
I am hearing...the rain hit the roof.
Around the house...things are pretty well in order, so I have planned a sewing day.
I am pondering...this season with Charlotte.
One of my favorite things...Hot coffee in my favorite cup.
A few plans for the rest of the week:Shopping with mom tomorrow, WW meeting, piano lessons, and hosting a group of ladies for dessert on Friday afternoon.
