I have had readers from Pieces From Me asking other blog owners about me....4 in one week....so I decided to post on the old blog that I have a new address. If you came over from that, know if there was any way I could have let you know sooner, I would have. Again, dealing with so much loss....well I hope you understand. I hope you will like it here as much as I do.
I also started a whole new blog. It is called "The Face of Trauma" and is a private blog. If you wish to read it just throw me an email with a return email address and I will send you an invite IF I know who you are. If I do not know you, I would need to check out your blog if you have one and make sure you are trustworthy. There is much posted there that will be sensitive. EDIT: PLEASE mention The Face of Trauma blog by name in your email request, cause I have confused myself not knowing if people coming from Pieces From Me want the Life With A Little Sass address, or readers here wanting to be invited to the Trauma blog. Most emails are saying "I want to read your new blog"....see how I confused myself here??? LOL Thanks!!
I guess that is all for now. It is in the 90's here today and very humid. Our air conditioner is humming nicely and it is comfortable in the house. I plan to stay put today and get some more hand quilting done.
Have a blessed Lord's Day!!!!

So encouraging to hear about your son and daughter in law! I'm still praying for them over here!
Hey...that is good news! At least they are considering counseling and trying...God works wonders sometimes. Hugs to you, Bren!
I pray everything works out for the best!!
It is in the 90's here too! I have noticed huge tuffs of Ruby's (my cat) hair on the floors. I guess she is shedding for the hot weather!
Have a great day!
Libby
I hope your son and daughter-in-law can work things out. Good news that they are willing to try. :)
I had to laugh at your last post. I was not a Donny Osmond fan. I liked them all ok, but didn't have posters of them on my walls or anything. The big song I remember from this era is by Bobby Sherman called, "Julie, do ya love me" and I'm sure you can figure out why that song sticks out in my mind. My heart throb was Joe Namath. I know, I know. I've "loved" him since I was about 8 years old and old habits die hard. LOL The group I remember having posters on my wall for was The Bay City Rollers. Looking back I'm not sure what I was thinking. I think I should have looked a little harder at Donny!
Love, Julie
I'm so glad to have 'found' you again.
I hope things work out for your son and DIL.
I'm happy to hear your son and DIL are going to try to make their marriage work. Marriage can be hard work and I think in our society too many people are not willing to work at it. I'm sending prayers and positive thoughts that they are able to once again live together.
Good news about the children wanting to work things out. As you know, my son and DIL have never lived near me. Sometime around 2002 or 03 before we moved to Memphis, they separated. My DIL told me he had moved out. She let us know about it and said it wasn't her idea. I didn't have his contact number at that time, not sure he even had a cell phone. So, I happened to call the house one day and he answered. We had a long conversation about his choices and why. I've always tried to stay out of any problems they have. Anytime, he wanted to gripe about her, I asked him not to because I didn't want to hear about it. They sought counseling with their minister and eventually reunited and have been together since. They survived his year + tour of Iraq. He is about to be deployed again.
I just wanted to share this because, sometimes things work out for the best with a little time apart. Praying that things do for your loved ones.
