{pretty}
I started the Henrietta Whiskers quilt. The first block turned out very {pretty}!
{happy}
The Indian Summer made me {happy}...for a short time.
Now I am just as {happy} to see it go and get back to our lovely fall temps!

{funny}That cat is so {funny}!!! I laid out a sheet of freezer paper and began tracing my applique pieces, and she was sure I laid it all out just for her pleasure.
She would bat at the pen every once in a while and kept her eye on it's every move!
{real}
Yes, that was a {real} kitten in my last post. It was from a litter of 3. A dear friend's cat, and she invited us out to see the babies.
I would LOVE to have one, and am praying about it. The kids vote YES!, of course...Sweetheart will say no, and so will Sassy! Chances are, it won't happen....but there is always hope. Remember Hope? What a {real} imprint she made on our lives in such a short time.

I love the quilt block! It's so cute :) And so are the kittens.
Oh, I like that kitty quilt - and surely you WERE laying out all your stuff for the cat to get comfy on, weren't you????
I have the Henrietta blocks all saved for me to do....someday.
I love these post you do!
Unlike dogs, I think cats are better in pairs. (Ask me how I know about the dogs...ugh!) So, just in case I get a vote...I say bring a kitten home soon.
;o)

I vote for a kitten too! Kevin wanted to get Buddy. After what I put up with this dog for the first month or two, I think he would owe me a kitten if I wanted one. So far, though, I am content with Callie and Aeris. Of course, now I love Buddy dearly, but that first month was not pleasant. LOL Your block looks wonderful. This is such a cute quilt pattern. Have a good one.
Oh what a pretty cat and her little ones are so precious, one just like Mama. I'm not sure how Sass would react to a kitten. Whenever my granderdog comes for a visit, Smokey runs and hides unless he is cornered before he can get a way, then he hisses and snarls. After Yoshi goes home, it takes forever before he comes out...then he sniffs all around and looks at me as if he is very put out that I allowed that creature in our house.
You have a lovely appliqued block. I am so concerned about this new project I'm started with so much of the applique involved.
Blessings,
Mama Bear
Such a cute kitty! There is so much detail in your quilt square! What workmanship!
I love those Henrietta Whiskers blocks, and yours is so pretty. I did download them all and am hoping at some point to make them, too. And, like you, I have enjoyed the few days of Indian Summer we've had, but it's back to Fall temps now. I just dread the Winter!
Oh, I hope you get to have one of those kittens...they are so precious! There is just nothing so wonderful as a loveable, playful kitten!
XOXO,
Cyndi
