I wanted to answer a few comments I have gotten on the last 2 posts.
Karen commented, "The cool thing "anonymous" has missed, is how much your husband does for you too. You are serving each other which is beautiful...I think we call it "selfless love." :)
Yes, Karen, you are right on that one. One of the reasons I was so excited to get back to my routines is that when Sweetheart is home, he does so much around here. In fact, yesterday was his day off and he made dinner. That was after he shooed me downstairs and told me to go read the close to 100 emails that had come in while I was gone shopping for the day. If that is being a Man-Slave, I am thrilled to be one!!! I do have to have empathy for "anonymous" though, as she has never been married, nor is she a reader of my blog, so she would have no way of knowing the dynamics of my married life. God bless her......
Corin said, " I would have come back to my blog and spewed everything that I wanted "anonymous" and the hacker to hear, but you've handled this with grace and dignity."
You should have read the post I deleted before publishing!!!!!!
Alex said, "I also think it was brilliant to bring it out into the light without exposing the face(name)of the people who are so foolish to think in this day of technology that "anonymous" means anything anymore."
Again....you should have seen my first post. ;) Not so brilliant! LOL
Erin said, "It's sad that you had to create a new category for 'hate' on your sidebar just for your last two posts."
You know what, Erin? You are ABSOLUTELY right. I am removing that label. Thank you for pointing that out! There is no place for a hate label here. ♥
All of your encouraging comments and emails have humbled me to the core. I read some of them outloud to Sweetheart and could not get through most as they brought me to tears. I so want to be a vessel for HIS glory. I screw up so much of the time and I forget that He can work thorough us even at our worst.
Ok...onward and upward.
I HAVE to share some homemaking things here now, right? Look at this counter full of containers, bowls and pots and pans drying....
This is the result of me cleaning out the frig. Yeah...I told you I am not naturally clean, but thank goodness for that schedule!! I figured the drawer for all the plastic wear could be cleaned and organized while I am at it.I save all my sour cream and cottage cheese containers and lids. I send dinner to my son a couple of nights a week and this helps.
In the kitchen today I made the homemade dressing and salad I mentioned this morning. I am really working on my weight loss and I did not cheat or emotionally binge through these last few days! WOOHOO...that is a miracle!
It is getting warmer out and I can't wait to walk. There is still some snow on the ground where it was piled so high, but the temps are warming up. One day last week they were warm enough to open a window...Sassy was in paradise!
While I was at the store today, Kyle, Zach and I were picking up cat food and there was a gentleman getting cans for his own kitties. He asked about my cat and he shared about his 2 rescue cats. He had pics in his cell phone and I shared my cell phone pictures of Sassy. He looked at me and said, "You know the Lord, don't you?" I smiled and told him I did. He said he could tell. How I don't know....it reminded me of my purpose in this life though....just thinking outloud here.
We spent a big chunk of the day today at the mall. There is a dinosaur there that the kids have been wanting to see. My mom came and picked us up and off we went.
He was a big one! You can see the second level railing up there just about where his neck starts. See my little ones at the bottom?
Kyle was with us too!
From nose to tail, this one is 70 ft. long. Zach and I counted vertebrae....there are a total of 91...5 of which are fused at the tailbone.
Here he is from the second level of the mall.
And his close up.....
He is not very photogenic!
It was a fun day....lunch in the food court, lots of walking, great company, and education to boot!

SO GLAD you had a good day out!
:)
That's a BIG dinosaur! Echoing Alesha's "gad you had a good day out" comment, too.
Wow! That is a big dinosaur! Glad you had a good day. Our Aeris is enjoying the warmer days. She loves to play out in the yard. Callie, not so much. Her idea of a venture out to get fresh air is to sit on the door step for a couple of minutes. Then she is ready to come back in. LOL Have a good day tomorrow.
That is so cool!
Wouldn't it be spooky to see one of those in real life!!! So glad you had a wonderful day with the kids :0)

Remember the small minds of some and keep pressing on with your blogging :) I thought the flapper picture was the cutest thing and I do not see any threat to my womanhood by being a man-slave, just as my man is my woman-slave. That is what a relationship is about: serving one another. Some people will NEVER get it.
Sounds like the Lord knew just what you needed.....a great distraction with family. I'm also thankful that you have this blogging "family" that loves on you through hard times. We enjoy your blog, Bren. Continue you on, friend. And remember, just because someone says something about you, doesn't make it true of you. :) Usually it is ignorance speaking.
I've had a very stressful week, so I'm just now getting around to reading blogs and saw what happened. I want to say congratulations on handling this like the Godly lady you are! Plus, I would take this as a compliment that you are being the wife you are suppose to be. I'd rather be called a man slave of the 1920s than someone who abandons their family to pursue their own selfish desires.
I'm proud of you!
Bless you,
Mama Bear
haha! I understand what you mean about deleting the first comment but it's the fact that you were disciplined enough to do so. :)
Looks like a GREAT outing! So cool!
Blessings to you!
