Happy Birthday Kyle

25 years ago, Kyle was born! He was a breeze to deliver and such a good baby. I thought I would share some things about Kyle.

Kyle was born perfectly normal. At 2 months old, he got a bad pertussis shot. From then on he seizured. His story is here. Though the seizures are gone, Kyle is left with a damaged brain and the mental development of about a 10 or 12 year old. He is the light of our lives! One of the toughest things I have ever had to do in this life is answer Kyle's questions about his handicap.

Here is my proudest moment as a mother. ANYone who has read my blog for more than a year has heard this before!...and you will hear it again if you stick around long enough. Kyle was chosen out of a few thousand participants to light the Special Olympic torch! I sobbed and slobbered like a baby!

Kyle loves to do "art" and he is pretty good at it!

He is a big time animal lover. Especially cats!!!

His hero is his big brother....who he is 2 inches taller than. He is a chick magnet. Goodness, the drama I could share. These girls are unbelievable....the extremes they will go to....well, I have convinced Kyle the single life is the way to go!...for now.
He is wonderful with kids from babies up to age 5....then again at age 10 and up....those 6-9 year olds?, he is mostly annoyed.Kyle is a Mama's boy, and loves the times that Sweetheart and I spend one on one with him. Though he loves his younger siblings, I think he sometimes misses that time BCZ...(before Charlotte and Zach).Here are some baby pics, just to embarrass him a bit!!!
I have to say, when my boys were little...well, let's just say I miss those little boys! They are now wonderful men, who I am so proud of.
