I salvaged the silk flowers, but the dried ones are gone. Silly cat!!It has been quiet here. We are not starting school until next week. The place that we buy our curriculum from comes to town and holds a convention/open house every year. If you order there, you get 20% off and free shipping. They always come in August, but this year Kelly (the guy who holds the convention meetings) had to have knee surgery so he did not come to my town until the 9th of September. Our books are shipped and will arrive Thursday of this week. We have been reading and playing a new computer game...seek and find. The kids love it (and my mom and dad are hooked on it too). It really works the brain...I refuse to play it because I can not get hooked on it. I have been quilting. I am turning the corner to side 3 of the Hidden Star....just 12 blocks to go.
Guess what else happens this Thursday???? Emerson turns 2!!!!

Oh, bad Sassy! We had a little puppy before our oldest was born. We loved him, and he was a good dog, but one night I came home from church to find my beautiful arrangement of a dozen silk roses in a wooden swan planter ALL OVER my bedroom, where we'd put the dog before church. The planter was even broken in pieces. That dog had a party in there, let me tell you! So I feel your pain, Sister!
Silly kitty!! My cats used to do things like that - you just never knew what was going to get their attention! My doggies do weird things like that, too. They LOVE to tear up kleenex. Go figure. LOL

I think I'd take that little mess over a hair ball any day. Whenever I'm away for the day, Smokey awards me with one of these. I think he has them more when I don't have an opportunity to pet him as much.
I can't believe Emerson is 2 already...time keeps on passing faster and faster as I get older.

Oh Bren, surely that innocent looking kitty didn't make that mess? LOL Since we got Buddy, any time we find a mess, the dog gets blamed. Sometimes I think Callie is setting him up.
