Thankfully Charlotte loves to cook, cause I have some sewing to do!!! I did get the borders on the 9 patch baby quilt.
It is bright and cheerful. Every quilting line needs to be marked! What a drag!
It should quilt up fast....I love this little motif!
I still have 6 more 9 patches to mark, and then I will piece the backing and get it basted and in the hoop. I won't get to the basting til Monday, cause I have visitors this weekend.
Emerson made these flowers using a quilting stencil. So sweet!!! And this guy.....
.....he was so excited to see his uncle! He was in the hospital over night last week with pneumonia. Poor little man! :( He is fine now, except for a little bit of a left over cough.
This is an older pic, but it looks exactly like my table tonight....coffee and cats as I hand quilt in my chair.
I closed my facebook account....I was facebook hooked and decided to let it go. I got SO much done today!! ;) So if you were friends with me on facebook, I may or may not come back in the future. Does anyone else find themselves consumed by it?

I spend a little time on Facebook, but I have only "friended" family - that way I am not consumed with a 100+ people that I really don't know. I explained to people back at the beginning that my blog was for internet friends - Facebook was for my family -
Have fun with your visitors!!! Cute little quilt.
Lovely pics Bren. I am also hooked a little too much on fb. I do find it a social link to others, while I am trying so hard to keep some sort of 'normal' in my life.
It is rather a shame that the blog world seems somewhat of a dying art, it used to be such fun!
Still is, I guess, if I look in the right places.
Bren, I am on FB, but not much. I basically keep it to keep in touch with our kids. They all prefer texting, which I don't do. So it is FB or not hearing from them. LOL I wondered where you had gone. I love the bright little quilt. Very pretty. I made a trip to JoAnn's today and picked up 3 more quilting stencils. LOL I must have about 50 of them now. The sad thing is, I only use about 10 of them regularly. I was so excited this evening. My barred rock setting hen, Ruby, has 2 babies under her so far. I hope she has a few more by morning. It has been years since we had a hen that raised babies here. She is mean, I'll tell you that. I had to put my jacket and gloves on to just check under her. I'll take a picture when I am sure she is done. Have a great week, my friend.
I keep my FB for family only too. Blogging takes more than enough of my time as is LOL.
Crispy
Nothin' better than starting a new hand quilting project.
