Changes....

Lots of changes going on here. Once again, my grandkids are no longer just down the road. They, and their mommy moved about an hour away. I see them every Friday, and every other Friday I have them overnight. Divorce is so hard, but I am happy that everyone concerned is working hard to do what is best for those babies....they feel loved and safe. Emerson strapped herself in her car seat, right next to Sassy, who LOVES TJ's car seat. She makes it her bed every Friday evening.
More changes....our diet. We are adding more raw foods, and getting rid of more preservative. The kids are going off their ADHD meds (PRAY for us) and processed sugar is history.
We still have some favorites....homemade pizzas made with whole wheat tortillas.
Homemade whole wheat bread....the kids love this. The bread slicer my mom bought me in Amish country is a blessing. The kids have been on a puzzle binge...Kyle took pictures and asked me to share these on my blog, so here they are....The Lemongrass soap picture is up on the Spiced Cakes website. It smells so good!!! All the soaps will be ready to ship on Tuesday, so place your orders now. The kids and I are not the only ones needing diet changes...
While shopping for her food, my oldest son remarked that Sassafras needed the weight control formula. She doesn't think so, yet, what she doesn't know won't hurt her! Poor girl jumped up to a stool the other day and didn't quite make it...the entire stool came crashing down. She escaped without injury, but her lean jumping days are over!
Praying you have a blessed weekend....thanks for popping in!

Bren~ THis is the cat food we used to feed Oreo, it's real good for your cat. Nice and healthy and very good ingredients you may want to check it out. I don't remember the cost but well worth it.

Hey, it's winter! When talking to my neighbor the subject of his dog's weight came up. He said "My wife says all women, animals included, need to put an extra layer on in the winter. It cracked me up, still does. He has a very wise wife. Anyways, all that to say Sassy neeeeeds that extra layer of fat to protect her during the harsh winter. Who cares that she spends it all in the warm house!?! ;)

Good luck on your diet changes, I hope it all goes smoothly!

Hi Bren,

Your grandbabies are so blessed to have you. It is wonderful that everyone has their best interest in mind.

You are all in my prayers.

Poor sas! Our carmel can relate! I realized this morning when he laid on my pillow that his fat belly over took my head! He needs a diet too! Sounds like you are making wonderful lifestyle change choices! Many prayers for you as you do!

It's good that the kids still feel all the love around them!! Yep, Sassy needs a diet LOL. The kids did good on the puzzles, we love doing them too. I will send prayers on taking the kids off the ADHD meds, I know my nephew can't so without them, the impulse issues get too far out of hand and he's almost 17. He admits he needs them too.
